Philosophy of the Person’s The Masks we Wear

A mask is also known as persona.  In many cultures, masks are said to evoke the presence of the divine, in whatever form it chooses. Masks come in all sorts and manner—from the simplest slip to cover one’s eyes to the most grotesque, to better scare someone spectacularly.  The question is, do masks hide or reveal the self?
